Exciting concerts next year

In the coming year Sarah O'Brien is again performing at interesting places and with renowned chamber music partners such as Christian Altenburger, Patrick Demenga and Felix Rengli  among others. In Horgen at Badhaus Classix the setting is deliberately kept small, so that the most intimate form of making music - chamber music - can fully come into their own. The Festival of Music Meiringen takes place in summer 2016. The harp music of Sarah O'Brien should not be missing, since the motto in 2016 will be "sensual".

Masterclasses 2015

During the summer of 2015 International Masterclasses were held in the heart of the historic hill town of Montepulciano in the southern part of Tuscany. Sarah O'Brien gave a masterclass at the Palazzo Ricci, where ten young, highly talented and motivated harpists took part.

Last semester visiting professor Emmanuel Ceysson came to the Zurich University of the Arts. It has been two wonderful days full of music and harp playing at the highest level it has been. Merci Emmanuel for this great experience!

New album coming soon

Sarah O'Brien has recorded a new CD together with Cecilia Munoz (flute) and the kammerorchester basel, with Concertos for Flute & Harp  by W.A. Mozart and C.P.E. Bach/H.W. Henze, which will be released in October 2014. More information to follow.
